* – These figures were computed by totaling all the payments to each franchisee in the Sample (as defined below), and for each franchisee dividing the total payments by six to get an average monthly payment to each franchisee.
This Statement of Payments to Franchisees (this “Statement”) is not intended to express or infer an estimate, projection, or forecast of income, sales, profits or earnings to be obtained with any particular franchise.
This Statement contains historical financial performance information from 2009. The Heart to Heart Businesses owned by the franchisees were operated as “Gold Exchange” businesses in 2009, under the terms of Agreements with Gold Exchange LLC (“GE”), the parent company of Heart to Heart Gold Exchange LLC (“HHGE”). References below in this Statement to “Heart to Heart Businesses” mean the Gold Exchange businesses in 2009. The information presented covers only some franchisees of HHGE, and it does not include the results of the Heart to Heart Business operated by GE.
A total of 14 Heart to Heart Businesses were operating and sold gold, platinum, or silver, or all three types of precious metals, to GE at least during one month in 2009. However, the data in this Statement is based on the five Heart to Heart Businesses (the “Sample”) owned by franchisees that were operating during the period from July 2009 through December 2009, and that sold gold, platinum, or silver, or all three types of precious metals, to GE at least in July and December 2009.
The payment amounts shown in the table above are the actual amounts paid by GE to its franchisees after it deducted its fee from the discounted purchase price. Of the Heart to Heart Businesses in the Sample, (a) one, representing 20% of the Sample, achieved the high total and average monthly payments; (b) two, representing 40% of the Sample, achieved or surpassed the average total and average monthly payments; and (c) all, representing 100% of the Sample, achieved or surpassed the low total and average monthly payments. HHGE cannot guarantee, and makes no representation, that a franchisee will ever reach the any of the payment amounts shown in the table above.
Franchise Offers will be made only through a Franchise Disclosure Document. No franchises will be offered or sold to individuals or entities in, or for territories located in, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin, or any other state unless the franchise offering is registered or otherwise qualified in that state.
A NEW FRANCHISEE’S INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL RESULTS MAY DIFFER FROM THE RESULT STATED IN THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPRESENTATION.
